Meet the Quality Hardware Team
Tracy and Rob Bowden
Co-owners
Tracy and Rob share ownership of Quality Hardware Corporation, and they have co-managed the company since acquiring it in 2001. Tracy focuses on office and financial administration, while Rob leads Quality Hardware’s sales activities. They are especially proud of the Quality Hardware team. “Having a successful business is so much easier when you have great employees,” says Tracy. Rob adds, “Our people consistently make the extra effort. They go the extra mile. Our customers can count on that.”
Tracy originally hails from Indiana, and Rob was raised in Oregon and Northern California. They now live, along with their son, Drew, 18, a student at Michigan State University. They’re proud of his academic success and ambition.
Mike Jenosky
Contract Sales
You can say that door hardware is in Mike’s blood. His grandparents and parents worked for a door hardware manufacturer in New Britain, Connecticut. When Mike was eight years old, his parents moved to Michigan to work for another door hardware company. So, when he reached working age himself, it was only natural he would join the industry.
Mike has handled contract sales for Quality Hardware for over a decade. He specializes in writing hardware schedules for our customers’ submittal packages. Mike’s credentials are extensive; he has nearly 30 years of industry experience overall, and is certified by the Door and Hardware Institute (DHI) as an Architectural Hardware Consultant (AHC).
What distinguishes Quality Hardware? Mike cites these factors: “One, our knowledge base – we help our customers get it right. Two, our customer service – we don’t leave people hanging. And, three, the customer’s trust and confidence that a quote from us will result in a complete, working product.” Well stated, Mike!
Mike and his wife Cynthia live in Madison Heights, Michigan.
Linda Heimer
Contract Sales
Linda joined Quality Hardware early in 2009. She has been in the commercial door industry for nearly 20 years. Linda exemplifies Quality Hardware’s commitment to exceptional customer service: “I like to do way more than expected for customers,” she says. “When a customer has a problem, I may not always have the answer, but I’ll brainstorm with Rob, Mike, and the rest of the team until we do.”
Linda was born and raised in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, and she continues to live in that lakeside town. She has three children and three grandchildren.
Milt Klaich
Inside Sales
Milt has helped meet our customers’ needs for nearly 10 years. He’s a true customer service professional. Before joining Quality Hardware, he sold power transmission equipment for almost a quarter-century. Expertise, says Milt, is the key to Quality Hardware’s success: “We know the hardware. And we know whether it will work for the customer’s application.” Milt adds, “Customers will often tell us, ‘This is what was spec’ed. What the heck is it?’ Being able to answer those questions is what sets our company apart.”
Milt and his wife live in Warren, Michigan. They have two grown children.
Chris Joseph
Warehouse Manager
Chris does shipping and receiving for Quality Hardware. He also fulfills walk-in orders from customers. “When it involves our warehouse,” he says, “I’m pretty much the guy.”
Chris joined us in September 2012 after working for about eight years in commercial demolition and rebuilding in and around Detroit. Before that, he had gained inventory and warehouse management experience in the commercial auto parts industry.
Though relatively new to Quality Hardware, Chris has caught on quickly to the ways of our business. “I’ve enjoyed learning about commercial door hardware,” he says. “I especially like interacting with our customers. They’re very knowledgeable.”
Chris was born and raised in the Detroit area. He now resides in Oakland Township, Michigan, just north of Rochester.
Laura Rittenberry
Secretary, Receptionist, and Accounts Receivable
Helping people provides Laura’s greatest satisfaction on the job people. “I like helping our customers track their orders and doing what I can to help them get their needs met,” she says. Laura came to Quality Hardware in 2005 with 25 years of experience. Just previously she worked at K-mart’s corporate headquarters.
A native of Troy, Michigan, Laura now lives in nearby Clawson.
“The whole Quality team – Rob, Linda, Mike… everyone – knows the products and how they fit. They’re definitely my preferred supplier.”
